Jeanne Biggerstaff, Owner
Jeanne's been planning, arranging and directing events for businesses and non-profits ever since receiving her MBA in 1983 and joining the banking industry. She left the work force in 1988 to become an at-home parent and to homeschool her son. Jeanne continued to hone her event managment skills while volunteering for a variety of non-profits, planning and managing events of all types and sizes.
Following her passion for golf, Jeanne volunteered for major golf events such as the 2003 U.S. Women's Open and the PGA Champions Tour - the Jeld-Wen Tradition. She was the co-chair for Scoring and Leaderboards as well as the Pro-am Caddy Master for the Tradition in 2004 and 2005.
Jeanne has been a Course Rater for the Oregon Golf Association since 2005 rating golf courses throughout Oregon and southern Washington. In 2007, she joined with the Mexican Golf Federation to rate golf courses throughout Honduras and El Salvador.
Jeanne is currently Vice President of the Portland Chapter of the Executive Women’s Golf Association (EWGA), which hosts dozens of golf events around the Portland area each year. She serves on the EWGA National Championship Committee which oversees the largest women's amateur golf tournament in the United States. The committee plans and directs regional semi-final qualifying tournaments all over the U.S., culminating in a 36-hole championship tournament. The 2010 EWGA Championship Finals will be held at Geneva National in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin in early October on the Palmer and Trevino courses.
Jeanne is an active member of the International Special Events Society, which is dedicated to the continuing professional development of event professionals.
